Vibhuti-Vistāra


·         Neither the devas nor the Mahārshis know My origin, for, in all respects, I am their source.
·         He who knows Me as the birth-less, the beginning-less, and the maha-isvaram of all loka, is the un-deluded one among the earthlings, becomes freed from all sins.
·          
·         Intelligence
·         knowledge
·         freedom from doubt and delusion
·         forgiveness
·         truthfulness
·         control of the senses
·         control of the mind
·         happiness and distress
·         birth
·         death
·         fear
·         fearlessness
·         nonviolence
·         equanimity
·         satisfaction
·         austerity
·         charity
·         fame and infamy
·         All these various characteristics of living beings emanate from Me.
·          
·         The seven Maha-rsayah and before them
·         the four other great sages (Sanat-Kumāra, Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanātana)
·         the Manus (progenitors of mankind)
·         are born out of My mind, and all creatures in these planets descend from them.
·         All these majesty and yoga of mine, one who knows in reality, is engaged in unwavering yoga without any doubt.
·         I am the source of all. Everything emanates from Me. Thus knowing, the Budhāh (wise) are devoted to Me with fervor.
·         With consciousness fixed on Me, with lives dedicated to Me, preaching each other, and always speaking of Me, they remain perpetually contented and rejoice.
·         To those who are constantly worshiping Me with love, I give them buddhi-yogam by which they can come to Me.
·         I shall speak of My divine glories that are principal, as there is no limit to my extension.
·         I am
·         the atma, seated in the hearts of all living beings.
·         the beginning, the middle and the end of all living beings.
·         Visnu of Adityas (the sons of Aditi).
·         Ravi (sun) of all jyoti.(luminous bodies)
·         Marici of Maruts.
·         Moon of the Naksatra.
·         Sama Veda of the Vedas.
·         Vasavah (Current Indra) of the devas.
·         the mind of all senses.
·         the cetana (consciousness) of all living beings.
·         Sankara of all the Rudras.
·         Sitta-isah (Lord of wealth - Kubera) of all Yakshas and Rakshasas.
·         Pavaka of the Vasus.
·         Meru of all mountains.
·         Brhaspati, the Mukhyam (chief) of all Purodhasam (priests).
·         Skandah of all commanders
·         Sagara of all sarasam (water reservoirs)
·         Bhrgu of all maha-rshi.
·         Eka-aksaram (pranava mantra) of giram (vibrations)
·         Japa Yajna of all Yajna
·         Himalaya of the stationary things.
·         Asvatthah (the banyan tree) of all trees.
·         Narada of all Deva-rshis
·         Citraratha of all Gandharva
·         Kapila Muni of all Siddha (Perfects).
·         Uccaihsrava of all horses, born of amrta (from sagara-manthana)
·         Airavata of all the elephants of Indra.
·         Nara-adhipam (King) of all Nara (humans)
·         Varjam of all weapons
·         Kama-dhuk of all dhenu (cows)
·         Kandarpa (Cupid) of the causes of procreation.
·         Vasuki of all serpents.
·         Ananta of Naga
·         Varuna of Yaada (aquatics)
·         Aryamā of all Pitris
·         Yama of all regulators
·         Prahalad of all daityas
·         Kāla of calculators
·         Mrga-Indrah (Kings of animals - Lion) of all Mrgah (animals)
·         Garuda of all birds.
·         Pavanah of all purifiers
·         Rama of wielders of weapons
·         Makarah (shark) of fishes.
·         Jahnavi (Ganga) of rivers
·         the beginning, the middle and the end of all creation.
·         adhyatma-vidya of all education
·         Vaada (logical truth) of all arguments
·         a-karah of all aksara (alphabets)
·         dvandvah (dual) of all samasika (compound words in grammar)
·         Kaala among the inexhaustibles
·         Brahma among all creators
·         Mrtyu (death) that annihilates all
·         the origin of all that are to be borne
·         among women
·         kirtih     (devi of fame)
·         srih       (devi of fortune, opulence or beauty)
·         vak       (devi of fine speech) 
·         smrtih   (devi of memory)
·         medha  (devi of intelligence)
·         dhrtih    (devi of firmness)
·         ksama  (devi of forgiveness)
·         the Brhat-sāma of the hymns in the Sāma Veda
·         the Gāyatri of chanda (rhymes).
·         Mārgasirsa of all months,
·         KusumKara (flower-bearing spring) of all seasons
·         the gambling of cheats
·         Teja of the tejasvis
·         Victory,
·         Determination,
·         Sattva quality(goodness) of the Sattva-vatam (good)
·         Vāsudeva of the descendants of Vrsni
·         Arjuna of the Pāndavas
·         Vyāsa of the Munis,
·         Usanā of all the Kavis (great thinkers)
·         Punishment of all means of suppresion.
·         Niti (Morality) of those who seek victory
·         silence of all secrets,
·         Jñāna of the Jñāna -vatām (Jñāni)
·         the seed of all living beings
·         There is no carā-acaram (movable and fixed beings) that can exist without Me.
·         There is no end to My divine expansion. All these I said are like examples of glories of My expansion.
·         Whatever expansions have sattvam (reality/existence), sri-mat (beauty/prosperity) or ūrjitam (powerful), know that they are a borne from of a part of my Teja.
·         I am situated with a single fragment of mine sustaining this entire universe.
