Various ways in which He is worshipped

·         Arjuna asked “Which are considered to be more perfect in Yoga, those who are always properly engaged in Your devotional service or those who worship the Avyakta, Aksara (Brahman), the unmanifested?”
·         Fixing the mind unto Me one who always engaged in worship endowed with great faith, they are the best associated ones (yukta-tamah) according to Me.
·         But those who worship aksaram (imperishable), anirdesyam (indefinite), avyaktam (unmanifested), sarvatra-gam (all-pervading), acintyam (inconceivable), unchanging, immovable and fixed, by controlling all the sense, everywhere equally-intelligent, they certainly achieve me being engaged in the welfare of all living beings.
·         More difficulties for those whose consciousness are attached to the Avyakta, progress towards Avyakta is certainly achieved with distress for body-conscious people.
·         But those who giving up all their activities unto Me, being attached to Me without deviation, certainly by Yoga, worship by meditating upon Me, for them I become the deliverer from the ocean of samsara and death without taking much time, their consciousness being fixed on Me.
·         Certainly by fixing your mind upon Me, and applying all your buddhi on Me, you will live in Me there-after, without doubt.
·         If you are unable to fix your cittam (consciousness) steadily on Me, then by practicing Yoga, desire to get Me.
·         If you are unable to practice (Yoga), then become My-Supreme-Action. Even by performing actions for my sake, you will attain perfection.
·         If you are also unable to perform taking refuge in My Yoga, then renounce all results of your actions controlling your-Self.
·         Certainly
·         Jñāna is better than practice (of Yoga),
·         Dhyāna (meditation) is considered better than Jñāna,
·         Renunciation of Karma-Phala is better than Dhyāna.
·         After such renunciation, there is Śanti.
·         One
·         who is not envious but is a kind friend to all living entities,
·         who does not think himself a proprietor and
·         is free from ego,
·         who is equal in both happiness and distress,
·         who is forgiving,
·         always satisfied,
·         yogi,
·         self-controlled with determination,
·         his mind and intelligence fixed on Me,
·         such a devotee of Mine is dear to Me.
·         From whom people are never agitated,
·         One who is never disturbed also,
·         One who freed from happiness, distress, fear and anxiety,
·         is also dear to Me.
·         My devotee who does not desire anything,
·         who is pure,
·         expert,
·         free from concerns,
·         free from all distress,
·         renouncer of all endeavors,
·         is dear to Me
·         One who neither rejoices nor grieves,
·         who neither laments nor desires, and
·         who renounces both auspicious and inauspicious things
·         such a devotee is very dear to Me.
·         One
·         who is equal to friends and enemies,
·         who is equipoise in honor and dishonor,
·         who is equipoise in heat and cold,
·         who is equipoise in happiness and distress,
·         who is equipoise in fame and infamy,
·         who is always free from association,
·         who is equal in defamation and repute,
·         who is always silent and satisfied with anything,
·         who has no residence,
·         who has fixed determination and
·         who is engaged in devotion
·         such a person is dear to Me.
·         But those devotees who,
·         Completely engage with faith in this amrta-of-Dharma as said,
·         considering Me as Supreme
·         are very dear to Me.
