· I spoke this imperishable Yoga to Vivasvān, Vivasvān told this to Manu, and Manu said this to Iksvāku.
· Thus the rāja-rsayah (kings who later became Rshis) knew this great Yoga though parampara (regular succession), which here in the course of time got lost.
· That ancient Yoga, which is this, has been spoken to you by Me today, (as) you are My devotee as well as My friend. Thus, this is certainly the superior-most mystery (rahasyam hi etad uttamam).
