Contribution of Jñāna to Yoga and Karma

·         Imbibe Jñāna
·         by approach (praņipātena),
·         by submissive inquiries (paripraśnena),
·         by the rendering of service (sevayā),
·         then Jñāni will impart Jñāna to you as they are the seers of truth (tattva).

·         Having obtained Jñāna you will never fall into illusion again. By this (Jñāna) you will realise that all living beings are in the ātmā, or in other words, in Me.

·         Even though you are the greatest sinner among all sinners, still by the raft of Jñāna, you will cross the ocean of sin.

·         As a blazing fire turns firewood to ashes, similarly the fire of Jñāna turns all karma into ashes.

·         In this world, there exists nothing as sacred as Jñāna. That person who has achieved perfection in yoga, in course of time, enjoys within his Self (ātmani).

·         A faithful man
·         who is dedicated to Jñāna,
·         who is diligent and
·         who has control over his senses
·         achieves Jñāna.
·         Having achieved Jñāna, he very soon attains the supreme peace.

·         The ātmā who lacks Jñāna, who is devoid of faith, who also possesses doubts, falls. Neither in this world nor in the other, there is nowhere happiness for a doubting ātmā.

·         One who
·         performs yoga by renunciation of Karma,
·         whose  has destroyed his doubts by Jñāna,
·         is established in the self (ātma-vantam).
·         Karma never binds (him).

·         Therefore, borne of ajñāna present in your heart
·         Cutting off this doubt by the “weapon of jñāna” of (your) ātmanaḥ.  (Self)
·         being situated in Yoga,
·         get up and fight.

·         Karma Sannyāsa and Karma Yoga both takes you to the superior-most state, however Karma Yoga is superior to Karma Sannyāsa.

·         One who neither abhors nor desires is known to be a Nitya-Sannyāsi.
Remaining free from all dualities, he happily becomes free from bondage.

·         The learned never consider Sāmkhya and Yoga as different.
If you remain completely situated in either one of these, you will attain the result which is common to both these paths.

·         One who practices Sannyāsa without yoga is afflicted with sorrow.
But a Muni who adheres to Yoga attains Brahman without delay.
