· The niyatam (regulated) Karma done,
· without attachment,
· without love or hatred,
· by one without desire for result
· is called Sāttvikam Karma.
· But that karma which is done
· with great labor,
· by one with desires for results,
· accompanied by ego,
· is said to be Rājasam Karma.
· That Karma which
· got started by illusion,
· causing bondage,
· destruction,
· violence,
· without considering the consequences,
· paurușam (with application of power)
· is said to be Tāmasam Karma.
