Classification of devotees

·         Four kinds of pious men are devoted to Me
·         Artah                      (The distressed)
·         artha-arthi    (The desirer of wealth)
·         Jijñasuh      (The inquisitive)
·         Jñāni

·         Out of these, the Jñāni is always ever-engaged (in yoga - yuktah) and has single-devotion (towards me) is special. Certainly I am extremely dear to Jñāni and he is also dear to ME.

·         Certainly all these devotees are magnanimous, but in my opinion, Jñāni is MY-SELF. He (yukta-atma) is certainly situated in ME, is certainly the highest destination.

·         At the end of many births, a Jñāna-vān (Jñāni) surrenders unto Me, concludes "Vāsudeva is everything", such a mahātmā is very rarely seen.

·         Those, whose Jñāna are distorted by Kāmā, they surrender unto other Devatā following regulations controlled by their own natures.

·         Whoever, whichever body (Devatā), a devotee desires with faith to worship, I surely make his faith steady in that.

·         He with that faith associated to that Body (Devatā) engages in that Body’s worship and from that, he fulfils his desires. Certainly these arrangements are done by ME alone.

·         Less intelligent people worship the Devatās, and their fruits are perishable. Those who worship the Devatās attain their respective Devatās, while MY devotees attain Me.

·         The unintelligent, unaware of My Supreme Nature (Brahman) which is imperishable and unsurpassable, think of Me (Shree Kŗshņa) as the un-manifested that has achieved a personality.

·         I do not reveal to everyone. Being surrounded by Yoga-Māyā, this deluded world does not know Me as birth-less and imperishable.

·         I know completely all past events, all present events, all future events and all living beings, but no one knows ME.

·         Desire and hatred arise from illusion of duality. All living beings while taking birth enter into this delusion.

·         But the persons whose sins are completely eradicated, who have done puņya karma, they get freedom from delusion of duality and worship ME with firm determination.

·         Those who strive by resorting to ME for achieving liberation from old age and death, they know that
·         Brahman,
·         entire Adhyātmam (the individual Self),
·         Karma (actions) in totality,
·         Adhibhuta (the governing principle of the material manifestation)
·         Adhidaivam (governing all the deva)
·         Adhiyajñam  (governing all yajña)
·         is ME

·         Also those who understand Me (as specified above) even at the time of their death, associated with consciousness, they know ME.

·         The indestructible Brahman is Supreme.

·         Svabhāvah (His Characteristics) is called Adhyātmam.

·         Action pertaining to the creation (Visargah) of the material bodies of the living entities is called Karma.

·         Adhibhūtam is the ever-changing characteristics (Nature).

·         Puruṣaḥ (part of Brahman which led to the beginning of creation) is called Adhidaivam.

·         I (Kŗshņa) embodied in this body, am Adhiyajña.
